If Tomorrow Never Comes

There are moments in life when we feel, only if we could do everything we wanted today itself. What is “Tomorrow never comes”? This is a poem I wrote, one such evening when I felt so…’, ‘

Today,
I stretched my hands far along
And I yearned to embrace the air with my arms,
To feel powerful as a colossus,
”Coz, if tomorrow never comes.

Today,
I spread my hands wide apart
And took a leap far above into the sky,
To reach far across so high,
”Coz, if tomorrow never comes.

Today,

I smiled with smiles all over,
And enjoyed as if the world is not enough,
To bring smiles to a few more faces,
”Coz, if tomorrow never comes.

Today,

I wept my heart out
And teary lullabies did fill all over,
To brighten a few sorrow-stricken faces,
”Coz, if tomorrow never comes.

Today,

My heart raced faster than ever,
And the lup-dups filled the air,
To let a few more hearts beat,
”Coz, I knew tomorrow will never come.
